Its been always a disaster when storm strikes our country. Most of the time, we lost the source of electricity that would give us a hard time specially when it comes in our communication. When calamities strike, we always wish our phones could last longer without the need to re-charge. MyPhone’s solution is a new phone called My112.
It’s a feature phone with a HUGE 6,000mAh battery that should power it for more than a week! It can even serve as a power bank and give life to your other gadgets.
Other colors are also available for the My112 such as blue and yellow.
The MyPhone My112 has a 2.3-inch colored LCD display and supports dual SIM functionality. It can also read up to 8GB microSD card for music playback.
At the top center of the phone’s keypad is a dedicated SOS button. When pressed, the phone will produce a siren sound allowing rescuers to know your location. This is why the phone is referred to as an ‘SOS phone’.
Speaking from my Yolanda experience, MyPhone has a point.
Since it will most likely face tough conditions, the MyPhone My112 is protected by a water and shock resistant body. It will also glow in the dark.
It’s available at MyPhone stores for ₱1,399 only and Sun Cellular postpaid plan for ₱199 per month. The former includes a free USB lamp.
