Here is some rumors spreading about the upcoming launched of Nokia C1, the first android device from Nokia together with Microsoft. If this might happen, I hope that Nokia will rise up again together with Samsung and iPhone. Kindly read the story below.
The Microsoft owned Nokia has already launched an impressive Android tablet named the Nokia N1 which is yet to find its way with users around the globe. But, an arsenal of devices wouldn’t be complete until there’s a smartphone running the latest operating system, right? Enter the Nokia C1, a new Android Lollipop 5.0 powered smartphone in the making and scheduled for a 2015 release.
However, if it gets launched, the company will breach the agreement they have with Microsoft but that’s a different issue to take care off another time. For now, the news sounds definitely interesting given the fact that the manufacturer has always been associated with durable phones that are priced low and offers great value for money. Besides, Nokia has great brand recognition in India right next toSamsung.
According to the specifications tipped by a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Nokia C1 will sport a 5-inch IPS display with probably a 720p display or higher, and will run on an Intel processor. It will be coupled with 2 GB of RAM and comes bundled with 32 GB of in built storage space.
The phone features an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera with all the usual connectivity features including wifi, GPS, 3G among others. For a long time, Nokia suffered in the mobile phone market because they refused to adopt the most popular operating system around the globe, Android.
But, things seem to be changing now after the Microsoft acquisition as they have already launched a great looking Android tablet and if the C1 phone gets launched as promised, it might revive the company but it may also put them in trouble due to licensing agreements done during the purchase. Just hold on for a couple days and we may have an answer during the CES 2015 to be held in the month of January.
