The ASUS ZenFone 3 is a 5.5-inch full HD smartphone running on an octa coreSnapdragon 625 processor with 4GB or 3GB of RAM, a 16 Megapixel camera and a fingerprint sensor.
It was launched during an event called Zenvolution held on May 30, 2016 in Taiwan. It’s the third major update of ASUS’ smartphone lineup following the original ZenFone and ZenFone 2.

The ASUS ZenFone 3 is the first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It’s an octa core processor with 14 nanometer technology for longer battery life.
It has a maximum CPU speed of 2.0GHz, an Adreno 506 graphics processor and integrated 4G LTE modem. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology is also built-in to this chip.

Is the ASUS ZenFone 3 worth the wait?
The starting price for the ASUS ZenFone 3 is $249 which is a little under ₱12,000 based on current forex rates. This is for the version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
However, there’s no news about the price of the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM version as well as when these will be released here in the Philippines. We’ll post updates soon…
