MyPhone unveils a total of 5 new smartphones with built-in digital TV allowing users to watch clear and crisp TV shows on the go.

The lineup includes the previously revealedMy81 DTV and My85 DTV by retailer poster. During the official launching event, the company introduced the My82 DTV, My83 DTV and My86 DTV.

Here are MyPhone’s New DTV Smartphones:

The MyPhone My81 DTV is the cheapest model for ₱1,699.00. However, it only has a 4-inch screen, 512MB of RAM and 1500mAh battery.

If you want a DTV enabled phone with minimal lags, the MyPhone My86 DTV comes with a 5-inch HD screen, 1GB of RAM and 2500mAh battery.

Take note though that digital TV broadcast is still limited to metropolitan areas such as Metro Manila, Cebu City and Davao City.

NOKIA IS OFFICIALLY RETURNING TO THE MOBILE PHONES AND TABLETS MARKET

The world’s erstwhile leader among mobile phone brands, Nokia, is officially coming back with smartphones and tablets running on Android!

A new company called HMD Global Oy will create a full range of Nokia branded products while Nokia sets the mandatory requirements in terms of design, quality and performance. This will happen when since Nokia’s contract with Microsoft expires on thesecond half of this year.

Nokia warns though that it will take some time before Nokia devices hit the store shelves. HMD will control the sales, marketing and distribution of Nokia devices but it still has much to do to adhere with Nokia’ standards.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is selling the feature phone business that it acquired from Nokia to a subsidiary of Foxconn. The Chinese company known for manufacturing Apple products will then manufacture the new Nokia devices for HMD.

“We will be completely focused on creating a unified range of Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets, which we know will resonate with consumers,” HMD’s future CEO Arto Nummela said.

Hopefully, the consumers will be the ultimate winner with these developments. We’ve been waiting for Nokia’s comeback for years.

ALCATEL FLASH PLUS 2 NOW OFFICIAL – 5.5 INCH DISPLAY, ANDROID MARSHMALLOW, HI-FI AUDIO AND FINGERPRINT SENSOR

Scratch that, this new smartphone is simply called the Flash Plus 2since Flash is now a separate company from Alcatel and focuses onbang for the buck smartphones.

It comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display, replaceable metal casing, near-vanilla Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, fingerprint sensor andHigh Fidelity audio.

The Flash Plus 2 runs on MediaTek’s Helio P10 chipset. This is composed of two sets of quad core Cortex-A53 CPU cores running at 1.8GHz and 1.0GHz respectively as well as a Mali-T860 graphics chip.

RAM is either 3GB or 2GB while the built-in storage is either 16GB or 32GB which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

For photography, the Flash Plus 2 has a 13 Megapixel rear camerawith Phase Detection Autofocus and a 5 Megapixel wide-angle front camera with its own LED flash.

It can connect to 4G LTE networks and has separate slots for a microSIM, nanoSIM and microSD card.

The Flash Plus 2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports 9 volt quick charging.

It comes in two colors – Venus Gold and Luna Silver. The price here in the Philippines will be around ₱8,000 and the local launching will be on May 24th.
